We serve authentic Indian, Punjabi and Kashmiri cuisine plus a range of English favourites, prepared by some of the top chefs in the country.

Indian Ocean founder Nahim Aslam has travelled the Indian sub-continent to find the most talented chefs and combined them with the best local Indian food chefs to create an authentic menu that introduces the genuine spices and flavours of the region to our diners. Together the chefs have excelled over the years in our kitchens to understand local taste buds and their knowledge of cooking methods, techniques and spices can be seen on today’s Indian Ocean menus.

The restaurant's kitchen boasts a team of twelve first class specialists, with all the experience and skills to produce regional South Asian home country cooking right here in Tameside. Everyone at the Indian Ocean is determined to offer nothing less than the genuine article.
